Our toddler house program is for children ages 20 months-2.9 . Montessori toddler Classrooms have a small teacher-student ratio of 2::9 and are environments designed to help the blossoming toddler practice the skills of independence. Toddlers spend time exploring classroom materials, learning the names of items in their environment, singing and dancing, hearing stories read to them and learning to take care of themselves--learning to become independent with things like putting on their shoes and slippers and practical activities of everyday living. Our toddlers will also have the opportunity for gross motor development throughout the morning with yoga and mindfulness, as well as ample recess time in our outdoor nature's classroom. Our School calendar is posted on our website and we encourage families to familiarize themselves with the first and last days of school.  Though summer programming is offered and can be seen as a continuation of the school year, hours of operation during summer months may differ. This information will be shared in a timely manner during our summer program planning period in early January-February. There will be a three-day break after the end of school for teachers to clean and organize their materials and attend important close-out meetings. There is no programming offered in the month of August.

Our children's house program is for children ages 2.9-6. Montessori Classrooms are multi-age with the older children taking on a leadership role to their fellow peers. Younger students work hard at taking care of themselves--learning to become independent with things like putting on their shoes and slippers, putting on and zipping their jackets, and practical activities of everyday living. Older students enjoy working on these same skills along with moving through the areas of Sensorial and into the more academic area of Language and  Math. It is a rich learning environment combining Montessori Materials in a home-like classroom. Students will also have the opportunity for gross motor development throughout the morning with yoga and mindfulness, as well as ample recess time in our outdoor nature's classroom.
